Wheaton | Bekins has had its eye on the older adult population for awhile now, creating partnerships with the senior move management industry and senior living facilities and creating internal programs to make the van line and its agents more attractive to the market.
Wheaton | Bekins is a trusted partner and does a lot of work with the senior living community, Erickson Senior Living, much of which happens during the off-peak.
The National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE)
is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the retirement, healthcare benefits and earned pay of federal employees, retirees and their survivors. Our relationship with NARFE and its affiliates allows us to offer their members specially discounted moving rates.
Wheaton | Bekins has a close relationship with the National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM), supporting the group with event presentations, education and financial support. In 2019, NASMM honored the van line with the Margit Novak Award for Excellence in Senior Move Management, the first time NASMM has given the award to an association partner as opposed to a regular member of the association.
